Echoes of Emmet ~ Your Own Valuation
The world will take you at your own valuation. Your body will take you at your own valuation. Your business will take you at your own valuation; for your own value
is the value that you really put upon yourself. "Oh, but," you may say, "that cannot be true, because I know several people who
are always boasting and pretending and yet no one ever takes them seriously." Please note that I said the value you really put upon yourself. That important word
makes all the difference in the world. People who boast, bluff, and pretend, have really a poor opinion of themselves-or why would they pretend? And it is this poor
opinion or sense of inferiority that is demonstrated in the failure that such people always make of their lives. The man who really believes that his wares are excellent does not dream of lying
about them. The man who is satisfied with what he is, has no incentive to pretend to be something he is not. The man who is conscious of substantial achievement has
no desire to boast. Nature always takes you at your own valuation. Believe you are the child of God-really
believe it. Believe that you express Divine Life, Divine Truth, and Divine Love. Believe that Divine Wisdom guides you. Believe that God is your supply. Believe
that God is helping and blessing humanity through you yourself. Believe that you are a special enterprise on the part of God and that He is opening your way-and
what you really believe, that you will demonstrate.

There is no value in life except what you choose to place upon it and no happiness in any place except what you bring to it yourself. Henry David Thoreau
My Destiny ~ Joseph Murphy
I know that I mold, fashion and create my own destiny. My faith in God is my destiny;
this means an abiding faith in all things good. I live in the joyous expectancy
of the best; only the best comes to me. From this moment forward, I express life,
love, and truth. I am radiantly happy and prosperous in all ways. Thank you Father.
Opportunities multiply as they are seized . Sun Tzu c. 544 - 496 BC
Thinking Along With Dana Gatlin ~ I HAVE NO FEAR
Do not let your human doubts or timidities hold you back. Do not let the opinion of anyone in the world hold you back. Make your first claim on God in whatever
terms best satisfy your individual need. Let your courage manifest itself in daring to approach and claim God, the power that works within you and that is stronger
than any force that can threaten or assail you from without. Claim God, ally yourself with Him. Identify yourself with those of His blessings of which you feel the most
vital need. Life, love, peace, joy, plenty-of these God has an inexhaustible abundance. I am unified with God. By my faith I am unified with His life and power and all
the good there is. Send the message to your mind, to its farthest corners, again and again. The last thing before you go to sleep, the first thing when you waken, a dozen times daily,
a thousand times if need be. As you perform your daily tasks, as you go forth to meet a problem, build a sense of your alliance with Almighty God into your deepest
consciousness. Live in the mighty omnipresence of God.
Whatever you do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power and magic in it. Johann Wolfgang von Goethe 1749-1832
The End Is Secured
The course of our life depends on the decisions and choices we make. Sometimes it appears that the immediate consequences of a decision are not to our best advantage,
but when we look back later we realize that everything really did work out for our greatest good. Judge Thomas Troward in The Edinburgh Lectures on Mental Science
explains it this way, "But suppose, when we reach a point where some momentous decision has to be made, we happen to decide wrongly? On the hypothesis that the end is already
secured you cannot decide wrongly." That is indeed a startling statement, yet if we examine it closely we can understand his spiritual logic.
There is a Divine Intelligence operating through the mind of every person and that intelligence is all-knowing. When we establish a goal in mind and believe that it
will come to pass, then this Intelligence takes over and directs us into the right action necessary to get the job done. Certainly we avoid any rash action which goes
against our better judgment, but we can be certain that the choices we are called upon to make will be made toward our best interests once our objective is firmly
planted in our mind. We then can release any feelings of anxiety and worry, knowing that we are guided and directed into right decisions.
All decisions I am called upon to make today are already made in the Mind of God, and I quietly and confidently receive them as they are needed.
James Munson (Early New Thought writer)
Stake Your Claim
You can have true success and happiness in life if you consistently put these truths into practice in your daily living. It is your God - given duty to Stake Your Claim to peace, poise,
power, prosperity and health - and God expects you to be satisfied with nothing less. (Herman Wolhorn)

From: Jean (in part)
After being diagnosed with stage four cancer, I was told I only have six months life expectancy. What a wake up call. I prayed a lot. One day while driving home, I spotted a sign for a garage sale. There I saw "The Sermon on the Mount" by Emmet Fox. I had never heard of him. I bought the book. That night I started reading. Within a few pages I realize I had found my new spiritual leader. As we develop our love we come closer to our creator and our hearts fill with love for all people and life; thus we gain happiness, fulfillment, peace and good health. I was hooked. This simple, uncluttered message was what I had been looking for. I soon read all of his books that I could find. The cancer treatments and surgery, put a strain on my kidneys. My kidneys were not doing well. The story of someone healed with faith healing stayed in my mind. My husband and I prayed for seven days. Each day I felt better after prayer. The doctors first reaction to my test was "wow" your numbers are good. Those numbers steadily improved. I learned that Emmet Fox was correct; we can be healthier when we fill our lives with faith, hope, and love. My cancer screens are clear, my kidney function is well and I'm at peace. I just finished reading your loving bio of Emmet Fox. I fell in love with his work.
From: Kish
Your loving letters and booklets by Emmet Fox became a constant
companion in my small and lonely prison cell. I read them over and over. I never
thought much of religion, but I began to pray for a miracle, when the messages
in these booklets resonated. This was my first brush with the law. I was serving
time for unknowingly being in someone's car where drugs were discovered. I had
never had any problems in my life previous to this arrest, and I was losing
faith, with a number of years to be served. This effected my college chances too. I kept reading and praying. One day
a young adult legal advisor came to visit. He said he was going to work on my
case to try to help me. After many months, it happened, early release to a
halfway house. It is a miracle, especially in this part of the country where
drug possession is taken very seriously. I now attend church every Sunday. I
found this wonderful writer named Emmet Fox who opened my mind, and I found God
too. I will always remember your kindness, and cherish the booklets especially;
Life is Consciousness, The Mental Equivalent and Golden Key. After I am
able to return home full time, I plan on attending a trade school. Thank you
with all my heart!
YES, I BELIEVE IT Emmet Fox
WHAT do you really believe? This is a vital question, because it is your real belief that determines your destiny. It is as a man thinketh in his heart that matters,
says the Bible, and this means the heart-felt conviction as distinct from mere formal assent. If you want to know what you really believe, you can easily find out. Simply watch
what you do. We always do what we believe, although we frequently talk differently. Therefore watch what you do and this will give you a clue to your real beliefs.
If your conditions are not to your liking; if you feel that you are not making the most of your life, change your beliefs. Your present beliefs must be wrong if they
are not producing harmony and satisfaction; so change them, and results will be changed too. Start believing in health; and keep it up. Start believing in prosperity; and keep
it up. Start believing in the Christ in those about you; and keep it up. Start believing that your own Divine Selfhood is rapidly unfolding; and keep it up.
Believe these things in your very heart, and act as though you believed them, and the results will surprise you.
