"There is no difficulty that enough love will not conquer, no disease that
Enough love will not heal; no door that enough love will not open; no gulf that
enough love will not bridge; no wall that enough love will not throw down; no
sin that enough love will not redeem...it makes no difference how deeply seated
may be the trouble; how hopeless the outlook; how muddled the tangle; how great
the mistake. A sufficient realization of love will dissolve it all. If only you
could love enough you would be the happiest and most powerful being in the
world."
Everyone either loves something or someone. Love comes in many forms
and through
many avenues. It gives us the assurance that we are not alone in life. Every
minute
of every day men and women are searching in society for true love. True love is
finding God. God is Love. No amount of love expressed in the world around us can
take the place of experiencing the ever present flow of God-Love within. Love is
right where we are. When we abide in true love we become a strong living magnet
to attract love in our personal life, our relationships with others, and our own growth and self esteem. We bring the love of God to life in our thoughts, words
and actions, and the love that is expressed is always reflected back in great
measure.
"Declare often, Divine Love is at work in my life now, and all is well." Emmet
Fox.
There is no longer mystery about the perfect communion of God and man that we call prayer. We have found the key that unlocks all of the mysteries in the concept of Omnipresence. We see that God and man are One, that heaven and earth are One, and it is the established attitude that is our most powerful prayer. Time and space vanish from our thinking as we grow in the realization of Truth....What is this powerful prayer? IT IS the LIFE LIVED in the REALIZATION that GOD and MAN ARE ONE! Nona L. Brooks Mysteries
Thinking along with Nona Brooks (Divine Science)
"Every thought that we think which is dependent on
that which is not of God is a transgression of the law of God. The law of God
is love; every thought or deed that is unloving is sin, and is followed by
suffering. Healing, means blotting out sin. There are many sins; it is a sin to
doubt, to fear, to criticize. The unkind thought that we think; the unkind word
that we speak of another; any darkness in our attitude; doubt, or fear - is a
falling short, a missing of the mark. As we free ourselves from this kind of
thing, we are healed."
Love
Annie Rix Militz (1856 -1924)
American author and spiritual leader, early
organizer
of the New Thought movement. From her book The Sermon on the Mount
The Highest Consciousness (Christ) cannot enter into the disciple who omits love
from his aims, even though he be an adept in works of healing and in miracles.
This is enlarged upon by Paul in his wonderful discourse upon Love (1 Cor.
xiii).
He there reveals that one could have the greatest eloquence, and yet, not having
love, be only like a beautiful musical instrument, without any life in itself.
One may have metaphysical knowledge so as "to understand all mysteries"; one may
have a faith that could heal case after case, "moving mountains," and yet if he
is neglecting to develop the love-nature, these powers will fail him, and he
will
need to return to the simplest study of the life of love in order to enter into
that joy of his Lord to which his heart is aspiring.
It is prophesied (Joel 2:28) that "it shall come to pass in the last days that
I will pour out
my spirit upon all flesh." Already a mighty spiritual wave is rolling over us,
and
increasing rapidly in volume and power, and as a result we may begin to look for
great and wonderful works upon all sides. But unless these signs be accompanied
with that love that thinketh no evil, they will count for nothing to the
discerning Truth student.
Love will be the great test; the love that is no respecter of creeds or sects,
that
judges no man and comes not to condemn the world, but that the world through it
might be saved.
Love is the Way.
Love is the Door, and no man can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven but by Love.
Thinking Along With Florence Shinn
All life is vibration. You combine with what you notice, or you combine with
what you vibrate to. If you are vibrating to injustice and resentment you will
meet it on your pathway, at every step. You will certainly think it is a hard
world and that everybody is against you. Hermes Trismegistus said several
thousand years ago, "To change your mood you must change your vibrations." I
make it even stronger;
I say, to change your world, you must change your vibrations. Turn on a
different current in your battery of thought, and you'll see the difference
immediately. Suppose you have been resenting people and saying you are not
appreciated. Take the statement: "God appreciates me, therefore, man appreciates
me, I appreciate myself." Immediately you will meet with some recognition on the
external.
You are now a master workman and your tools are your words. Be sure you are
building constructively, according to the Divine Plan. Judge Troward said: "Man
is a distributor of God-Power, he does not create this force." We find in
Hebrews: "What is man that Thou art mindful of him? And the son of man that thou
visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; and hath crowned
him with glory and honor. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy
hands, Thou hast put all things under his feet." Thou hast put all things under
our understanding. We are now coming into an understanding, age. We no longer
have the faith of peasants, we have understanding faith. Solomon said: "With all
your getting, get understanding"; understanding of the working of Spiritual Law,
so that we distribute this power within us in a constructive way. The law of
laws, is to do unto others as you would be done by them; for, whatever you send out
comes back and what you do to others will be done to you. (The Power of
the Spoken Word)
Quotation ~ Florence Shinn
You will be a failure, until you impress the subconscious with the conviction
you
are a success. This is done by making an affirmation which 'clicks.'
Treatment - OVERCOMING FEAR ~ Joseph Murphy
There is no fear, as "perfect Love casteth out fear." Today I permit Love to
keep
me in perfect harmony and peace with all levels of my world. My thoughts are
loving,
kind, and harmonious. I sense my oneness with God, for "In Him I live, move, and
have my being."
I know that all my desires will be realized in perfect order. I trust the Divine
Law within me to bring my ideals to pass. "The Father doeth the works." I am
divine,
spiritual, joyous, and absolutely fearless. I am now surrounded by the perfect
peace
of God; it is "The peace of God which passeth all understanding." I now place
all my attention on the thing desired. I love this desire and I give it my
whole-hearted
attention.
My spirit is lifted into the mood of confidence and peace; this is the spirit of
God moving in me. lt gives me a sense of peace, security, and rest. Truly,
"perfect
Love casteth out fear."
From: The Hidden Power by: Thomas Troward
(1847-1916)
(Emmet Fox studied the writings of the prominent
Thomas Troward before he began his ministry in New York).
This universal Essence-of-Life is a continual becoming
(into form), and since we are a part of Nature we do not need to go further than
ourselves to find the life-giving energy at work with all its powers. Hence all
we have to do is to allow it to rise to the surface. We do not have to make it
rise any more than the engineer who sinks the bore-pipe for an artesian well has
to make the water rise in it; the water does that by its own energy, springing
as a fountain a hundred feet into the air. Just so we shall find a fountain of
Essence-of-Life ready to spring up in ourselves, inexhaustible and continually
increasing in its flow, as One taught long ago to a woman at a wayside well.
This up-springing of Life-Essence is not another's--it
is our own. It does not require deep studies, hard labors, weary journeyings to
attain it; it is not the monopoly of this teacher or that writer, whose lectures
we must attend or whose books we must read to get it. It is the innermost of
ourselves, and a little common-sense thought as to how anything comes to be
anything will soon convince us that the great inexhaustible life must be the
very root and substance of us, permeating every fiber of our being.
Surely to be this vast infinitude of living power
must be enough to satisfy all our desires, and yet this wonderful ideal is
nothing else but what we already are in principle--it is all there in ourselves
now, only awaiting our recognition for its manifestation. It is not the
Essence-of-Life which has to grow, for that is eternally perfect in itself; but
it is a force. It must come by a natural process, the first necessity of which
is to abstain from all straining, trying to be something which at the present
time we cannot naturally be. The Law of our Evolution has put us in possession
of certain powers and opportunities, and our further development depends on our
doing just what these powers and opportunities make it possible for
us to do, here and now.
If we do what we are able to do to-day, it will
open the way for us to do something better tomorrow, and in this manner the
growing process will proceed healthily and happily in a rapidly increasing
ratio. This is so much easier than striving to compel things to be what they are
not, and it is also so much more fruitful in good results. It is not sitting
still doing nothing, and there is plenty of room for the exercise of all our
mental faculties, but these faculties are themselves the outcome of the
Essence-of-Life, and are not the creating power, but only that which gives
direction
to it. Now it is this moving power at the back of the
various faculties that is the true innermost self; and if we realize the
identity between the innermost and the outermost, we shall see that we therefore
have at our present disposal all that is necessary for our unlimited development
in the future.
Thus our livingness consists simply in being
ourselves, only more so; and in recognizing this we get rid of a great burden of
unnecessary straining and striving. If we are following the line of the
beautiful and good, then we shall produce the beautiful and good, and thus bring
increasing joy into the world, whatever particular form it may assume.
We limit ourselves when we try to fix accurately
beforehand the particular form of good that we shall produce. We should aim not
so much at having or making some particular thing, but expressing all that we
are. The expressing will grow out of realizing the treasures that are ours
already, and contemplating the beauty, the affirmative side, of all that we are
now, apart from the negative conceptions and detractions which veil this
positive good from us. When we do this we shall be astonished to see what
possibilities reside in ourselves as we are and with our present surroundings,
all unlovely as we may deem them: and commencing to
work at once upon whatever we find of affirmative in these, and withdrawing our
thought from what we have hitherto seen of negative in them, the right road will
open up before us, leading us in wonderful ways to the development of powers
that we never suspected, and the enjoyment of happiness that we never
anticipated. We have never been out of our right path, only we have been walking
in it backwards instead of forwards, and now that we have begun to follow the
path in the right direction, we find that it is none other than the way of
peace, the path of joy, and the road to eternal life. These things we may attain
by simply living naturally with ourselves. It is because we are trying to be or
do something which is not natural to us that we experience weariness and labor,
where we should find all our activities joyously concentrated on objects which
lead to their own accomplishment by the force of the love that we have for them.
But when we make the grand discovery of how to
live naturally, we shall find it to be all, and more
than all, that we had ever desired, and our daily life will become a perpetual
joy to ourselves, and we shall radiate light and life wherever we go.

Matt from U.S. writes: I had reached a very low point in
my life. I kept praying for a job and to be lifted from depression. It was only
when I began to apply the Golden Key concept that I felt a change emotionally,
and spiritually. Something good was happening in me, I had a glimmer of hope. I
could see a spark of light. Well, I am a Golden Key survivor. I
obtained a job, and I experienced the power of scientific prayer. Thank
you God, and thank you Emmet Fox. The little booklet is a very powerful tool for
survival.
When You Want Peace
Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy
palaces. Psalms 122:7
"When you want peace of mind-get away from things,"
counseled Emmet Fox, "and dwell upon the Presence of God instead."
"It is love that lifts the burden, Love that lightens every task. Fear you not, but cease your struggle. Love will give you all you ask. Love is God, and all about you breathes His presence on the air; unseen hands are raised to help you by the Presence everywhere." Fenwick Holmes
